TIC1998-0495-C02-01 ABSTRACT In this work, the design and development of a routing management application based on mobile agents in an Internet 2 (I2) environment is proposed. The objective of the application is to provide a routing based on the quality of service defined on a Service Level Agreement (SLA). For this purpose, the application obtains in each moment the best route according to a traffic and congestion control. As a consequence of the distributed operation scenario and the requirement of real time functionality, the application uses CORBA and intelligent mobile agent technologies.
